Level 2 delves into the three Points of View that we feel are imperative to improvising. Those are the Points of View of; Yourself, Your Character and Your Audience. Students investigate what they bring to the stage as themselves and how to better harness those qualities. They also learn what it takes to ground big characters, how to make the classics work and how to enrich the everyday man on the street. Finally, the class takes a look at some of the more functional aspects of putting on a show and examines the nuts and bolts necessary to creating an exciting experience for the house. DAY 2 Biochemistry for Yoga, a one-day workshop that will focus on the realities of living and, eating. We will learn the basics about digestion and how food choices affect one's health. We will study biochemical individuality and metabolic typing as a way to refine our food choices.
DAY 3 What to do About Scars, a one-day workshop where students will learn how to use castor oil and clay-packs to soften and bring new resilience and mobility to scar tissue. Injuries, illnesses and surgeries seem inevitable to us as beings with bodies. This workshop will focus on practical and inexpensive self-care to increase the resiliency of scar tissue.
DAY 4 Working with the Emotional Body, a one-day workshop about how to find emotional holding patterns in the body and how to let go of old beliefs that no longer serve our lives. We will learn the skills necessary to find and release emotional holding and how these old beliefs inhibit our natural brilliance from shining through.
