BC Liberals cut funding to arts - tell them it was a mistake
Please consider emailing a short letter to your MLA and the BC arts minister explaining why you support the arts and communicating that the BC Liberals will not receive your vote/support specifically because of their recent cuts. If you don't live in BC you can still speak up on behalf of the arts. Below are a few good statements about why the arts are important and worth supporting. Read more...

Harper not fiscally responsible, yet tax cuts only for show
In response to the recent announcement on budget surplus and tax cuts by the federal government, I've written the following as a letter to the editor. I grabbed a few points from comments and articles on the internet over the last week. This was printed in at least one local paper, and you may use it or modify it as you see fit. Read more...

Outdated Nuclear Energy Technology Rest In Peace
Before the year ends I'd like to post a few links to some information and news on nuclear energy, the outdated technology that won't solve our energy needs, won't lead to sustainability, won't ever be safe, won't solve the climate crisis, and won't ever be fiscally responsible. May it continue its slow disappearing act and rest in peace for the duration of this century and beyond. Read more...

About this blog
Hello, first of all I would like to apologize and tell that I am not John Murney. I am a big fan of his blog posts and now I am trying to find any information about his web existence. I know that John Murney (for me a superb political blogger) is a broadcast journalist, who used world wide web to share his political views and thoughts about other influential Canadian (and not only) politicians and not online. He is one of the best reviewers of Saskatchewan politic situation. Read more...

Hey there. I can sense a real deepening in your blog posts the past few weeks. I encourage you guys to make sure you're carving out enough time to rest. It may seem like you're wasting time, but you'll be a lot more productive after the nap than you would be without it! Who are the real job creators?
This is the TED talk that cause all the commotion: While TED might not have wanted to publish this talk to go public, the basic thesis of the talk is hardly controversial. Botulism is Best
It is just about time to roll up your sleeve and get the flu shot. Some argue the effectiveness and safety of these immunizations, but I prefer taking my chances with the needle instead of the bugs. Last year I had a long bout with bronchitis that left me away from work for an extended time, and I'd rather not face it again this year. That is why I am excited to hear about the development of a new immunization against sinus infections, bronchitis, and ear infections. Read more...
